Ping Assist Pro is a powerfull ping tool to permanently monitor network devices (routers, servers, workstations, network printers, etc.).
Basic features:
* Generating host lists by groups
* Graphical and numeric representation of ping results
* Ping history logging
* Alarm history logging
* Ping statistics in numeric and graphical format
* Sound alarm, e-mail notifications, and blinking tray notification of failures
* Remote ping
* Multi-user mode
* Multi-monitor mode.
Ping Assist Pro can notify you when abnormal situations arise in several ways, for example, the ping tool can show a message in the system tray, play a sound file, or send a text message by email. In addition, Ping Assist Pro can send e-mail status messages at a specified time, containing information about abnormal situations that have occurred.
Ping Assist Pro can keep ping logs, alarm logs and ping statistics. In the alarm log is detailed information about when the problem occurred and when it was eliminated. Ping statistics are in chronological order and can be viewed in a tabular and graphical form to view statistics for a selected device.
Ping Assist Pro makes it possible to create flexible solutions. The program consists of two modules:
1) Ping Service pings devices, sends alarm notifications via email and LAN, logs pings, alarms and ping statistics. The Ping Service has no user interface and can work with several Ping Monitors at once. The number of Ping Monitors simultaneously working with the Ping Service depends on the type of the purchased license.
2) Ping Monitor has a user interface and is used to edit the list of devices that should be pinged, control the ping process, display the ping results, etc.
